The European Researchers' Night 2006: More than one reason to celebrate � the Bulgarian way
To coincide with Bulgaria�s national day, on 22 September 2006 the European Commission is organising its second European Researchers� Night 2006: "Universities by Night" � (U*NIGHT). At universities across the country, researchers will have the opportunity to meet with children, young people and the general public, amidst festivities for Independence Day.
Five universities are taking part, located in Sofia, Rousse, Varna and Stara Zagora together with the Club Young Scientists and with support from Bulgaria�s Union of Scientists and Union of Physics. Researchers working in both Technology and Physics will gather at these institutes to welcome visitors, revealing their work � and themselves.
A programme of events will provide both entertainment and information for all who attend.
